Our scholarship program is currently accepting applications from high school seniors who will be graduating in Spring 2025. To be considered for the scholarship award, applicants must submit their application by Sunday, December 1st, 2024.

Advance Forward Scholarship: Essays Details
In 500-650 words, reflect on a personal experience that significantly shaped who you are today. Consider a moment or series of events that challenged your sense of self or pushed you to grow in unexpected ways. Share how you approached and overcame these obstacles, and explain how this experience has influenced the direction of your life and your future goals.
Don’t just recount the events—reflect on how they transformed you. What personal values or strengths did you develop? How have these experiences uniquely prepared you to thrive in a college setting and beyond? Be specific in showing why you are a strong fit for your chosen path and how you envision contributing to the community and world at large.
As you write, focus on authenticity and self-awareness. Use examples and personal insights to help your story stand out and create a compelling narrative that not only shows what you’ve been through but why it matters."
